Refurbishing an office is mostly a logistics problem wearing a construction costume. The building work itself is rarely the hard part; keeping a business trading while it happens is. This covers full and partial refurbishments, from a single floor to a whole building.
What’s included
- Strip-out and patching and repairing
- New partitions, doors and glazed screens
- Suspended and feature ceilings
- Lighting alterations and new small power
- Data containment and cable routes
- Flooring, painting and millwork
- Reinstatement of fire compartmentation disturbed by the works
How the work runs
We survey first, agree a phasing plan, then work to it. On an occupied floor that usually means sequencing by zone and taking the noisy operations outside working hours. Anything that affects fire compartmentation, means of escape or the electrical installation is identified before the strip-out, not discovered during it.
