Most commercial renovation happens in a building somebody is still using. That is a planning discipline, not a construction one, and it is where jobs of this kind usually go wrong.
What’s included
- Phasing plan agreed before work starts
- Temporary protection, screens and dust control
- Out-of-hours and weekend working where required
- Segregated routes for staff, visitors and materials
- Maintaining means of escape throughout the works
- Daily clean-down and handback of working areas
How the work runs
The phasing plan comes first and everything else follows it. Escape routes are kept clear and signed for the whole of the works, and each area is cleaned and handed back at the end of the shift rather than at the end of the job.
Where we do this
Renovations in occupied buildings across Toronto, Scarborough, Mississauga, Brampton, Markham, Vaughan, Durham Region.
