Heating and plumbing are the services a renovation is easiest to get wrong, because almost all of the work disappears behind plaster and under floors on the day it is finished.
What’s included
- Designing pipework routes around the new layout
- Rough-in pipework for kitchens, bathrooms and utilities
- Radiator, underfloor heating and heated towel rack circuits
- Hot and cold water distribution, and cylinder installation
- Waste, soil and vent pipework
- Water pressure and flow assessment before design
- Finish work, commissioning and system balancing
- Pressure testing before anything is covered up
How the work runs
Everything is pressure tested before it is closed in, and the routes are photographed and given to you – which is the difference between hanging a picture and hitting a pipe years later. Boiler and gas appliance work is carried out only by a registered gas engineer.
