Smart devices are usually easy to buy and awkward to fit. Video doorbells need power and a signal at the door, thermostats need the right wiring behind them, and cameras are only useful if they are pointed where the problem actually happens.
What’s included
- Video doorbells, wired and battery, including chime units
- Smart thermostats and heating controls, where existing wiring allows
- Indoor and outdoor cameras, siting, mounting and cabling
- Smart locks and keypad entry on suitable doors
- Smart switches, dimmers and sockets
- Motion, door, water-leak and smoke sensors
- Connecting devices to your network and testing coverage
How the work runs
Signal strength gets tested at the mounting point before anything is fixed there. Where a device needs new mains wiring rather than a swap on existing wiring, that part is carried out by a qualified electrician and certified.
